These pictures tell you what kind of upstanding person Mitts is.Mitts actually protested for the vietnam war but then dodged the draft by fleeing to France to relax on the beach for the next few years while his peers died in Nam fighting his war cry.

This fortunate son is cowardly evil and despicable.

Protesting FOR war 1966

Dodging the Draft in 1968 on the beach-in France no-less!

I see a top picture of people(?) holding signs that seem to have absolutely nothing to do with the Vietnam war, and a 2nd picture of a guy on a beach with a heart drawn in the sand. How exactly does that prove or have anything to do with either Vietnam or Romney in France? Seems like a "Birther" or a "binder" type attempt to me.

Besides, wasnt it the entire left that supported Clinton even though we KNOW he dodged the draft to avoid fighting in Vietnam, and wasnt it the left who were against the Vietnam war, and who praised people who dodged the draft as "dissenters", then spat on Vietnam vets as they came back from the war?

I dont know if this thread is meant as a joke, but if it isnt, then maybe if you are a Liberal you should rethink your feigned outrage here, because I have never heard anything but praise for Clinton and he definitely dodged the draft, and I've seen many Libs praise him and anyone else who "had the courage" to stand up and walk away from that unjust war....

You cant have it both ways!! :D

Google it.Its a well known story  about another fortunate son/chickenhawk.

Clinton was against the war so dodged it.Thats being consistent unlike the hypocritical Mitt who supported it as long as he could run away to France.I dont know why right wingers have such a hard time understanding the definition of hypocrite or what irony is or satire.Mental block on all three.Maybe they dont want it to disturb their 'beautiful mind'-Barbara Bush quote(http://www.snopes.com/politics/quotes/barbara.asp).

If that doesn't do it they break out the big guns. You're un-American.

CTH is either being dumb or playing dumb by bringing up Clinton

You mean, CTH,  you don't understand that the issue is hypocrisy?

Romney was a Hawk on Vietnam and apparently seems still be hawk

Was Clinton a Hawk?  Did a avoid the draft while advocating that other
people go fight the war like Romney did?

Is CTH so dense that he doesn't see the point or pretending to be dense?

as far as spitting on Vietnam Vets

This is most likely a myth

Boy you fail for BS rather easily don't you? Yet another similarity to KenV. I'm guessing after Ken's total smack down on religious issues he ditched the KenV moniker in favor of this one.  There are way too many similarities in posting styles.

The "you left something out" path is a sad one. Biden's actions do not in any manner diminish CHENEY'S heinous actions in lying and exerting great effort to put forward the Iraq invasion: Mushroom cloud over Manhattan, CERTAINTY of the location of chemical weapons factories? ALL lies repeatedly stated to the nation and the world.

Sadly trying to equate all of Cheney's deceitful efforts with Biden's vote for a legislation that required Bush to exert every effort to avoid invasion, which Bush/Cheney then went on to violate isn't even close to a credible defense of Cheney as you appear to desire. Does he have to take responsibility in my eyes for being overly naive in expecting such a President of the United States to follow the law and NOT place American service men and women in harm's way based on lies and deceit? Yes I would say so. Biden had been in political life way too long.

What Biden does get condemned by me for is not working to impeach the both of them (launching such a war for lies is surely treasonous) and being in an administration who has exhibited NO interest in trying either for the crimes they so blatantly committed.

You apparently have no concept of what constitutes a Chickenhawk, to wit:

Arguing in favor of a war, then evading going to fight in that same war.
