Classic chicken and egg stupidity
Consumers WITH jobs buy stuff
A big crowd of consumers , even if they have money, may be able to create demand....but it is the precious few that risk THEIR money to start a business to meet that demand (and maybe get rich doing it) that put those consumers to work
The people he provided jobs to went out and created demand
Wake up idiots.....we are not asking the rich to pay more taxes so that people can create demand for products and services
We are asking them to pay more taxes so that govt can waste more of it
You want successful people to pay more taxes so this guy doesn't have to walk a few blocks

I not sure what happens in the wacky world of the engineering department babb but in the real world people make investment decisions based on the chance of success, not a few percentage points of additional tax they may have to pay several years down the road.
Their chances of success are boosted enormously with a functioning, thriving middle and working class in America. Everything flows from the direct fortunes of these people.
They will certainly take the low tax option if given a choice but they are hardly going to give up on their big idea if they have to pay 20% cap gains on the money they hope to make over 15%.
What would it take for you to grasp the fact that trickle down doesn't work and will never work?

Why do people like Bill and Wild fail to understand the greatest periods of economic growth in our nations history came after large tax increases? Why is it those progressive rates under Eisenhower and Clinton did so well for us yet somehow can't now.

I'm sure the very wealthy are more than happy to sit back and watch the neo cons and Fox News enthusiasts do their bidding for them.
How dare we raise taxes on the people deriving the most from what this country has to offer? How dare we protect their investments with bailouts and then demand a marginal increase in their tax burden to pay for it? Let's tax the people who spend every dollar they make to support themselves and their families and our economy, rather than the profiteers who have a whole different set of tax laws and whose investments in development, for instance, actually take money out of our pockets as the value of our homes decline as a result!
Morons and lemmings unite! Help the poor suffering rich while begging them for the crumbs of employment they're apparently unwilling to share. Sheer brilliance.
If the rich paying lower taxes ACTUALLY created jobs everyone would already have one and NO ONE would have when they were paying 80%. Educate yourself on reality or admit that you don't recognize it.
