Maybe the whole universe is just a sociological experiment being run by god??

Study how long it takes each one of billions of planets to develop intelligent life, and then how long to wipe themselves out.

Would it not be great to find out if there is at least one which can figure out how to live in peace and harmony??!

Astronomers say that one in six stars hosts an Earth-sized planet in a close orbit - suggesting a total of 17 billion such planets in our galaxy.

The result comes from an analysis of planet candidates gathered by Nasa's Kepler space observatory.

The Kepler scientists also announced 461 new planet candidates, bringing the satellites' total haul to 2,740.

One of these "earth-sized" planets must be host to a bunch of doppelgangers.  Sort of like the episode on Seinfeld, with Bizarro Jerry and friends.  I really want to meet my doppelganger!!!

On Tralfamadore they outlawed all guns because those weapons had to be enormous just to fit the Tralfamadorian hand, and also because gripping the gun blinded the shooter to what he/she/it was aiming at.

Of course, Tralfamadorians already know the futility of attempting to change the outcome of an event that, from their perspective, has already happened.
