That evil monstrosity is far worse than you describe.
That gun has MULTIPLE "military features", including not one but TWO pistol grips, a telescoping stock, what looks like a Picatinny rail on top, and a muzzle configuration that has the looks of a flash suppressor.
Oh the humanity!

Question for bbobb169, KenV & BackpackHNTR: if someone gave you a choice between being shot by 100 rounds from a Nerf gun, and one round from any handgun or rifle, which would you choose?

Ya, some posts aren't worth responding too.
I am sure you can find a lot of pics of kids killed in auto wrecks, meth/drug, bullying, neglect caused deaths, etc. They are all tragic.
A choice of a Nerf or real bullet..... that was just a stupid question.

With all due respect Bbobb there is not a qualified logic professor that would compare the generally accidental injuries/deaths form various means with the injuries/deaths that occur from something designed to kill and injur whether accidental or not. Given that in the real world of semantic understanding that the first part of the 2nd Amendment is an unequivocal qualifier allowing for regulation in respect to the second part of the Amendment such irrational comparrisons will not sway let alone determine the outcome of this debate. Just like abortion [choice] a majority of the American people believe in one form or another of gun control.
I respectfully suggest those of you caught up in the deceitful tripe being spouted forth by the NRA, etc., to take a deep breath and actually:
"Think! It's very patriotic!"
