Put a fork in us. We’re finished. We’re going to default eventually and that’s why the feds are stockpiling bullets in case of civil unrest.”

I don't think much of Sarah Palin, but she was a state governor and vice presidential candidate. No moron gets there unless your advocating conspiracy. Be careful now.

IS a moron. Demonstrated.
The VP slot was McCain being a desperate candidate who felt the boat anchor weight of Bush's wars, lies and failures solidly around his wrinkled neck and so he grasped at the straw that was Caribou Barbie. Who that rabid mongrel of a tenacious reporter Katie Couric would later shred in what Katie intended to be a puff piece interview. Relegating Sarah to her short lived reality television career.
But again: it's the arithmetic.

Okay, on further consideration maybe she's not a moron (despite the evidence) but instead is a manipulative liar deliberately using erroneous numbers to frighten the simpleminded FaceBook friends of hers to stampede to the nearest gunshop to grab all the remaining "bullets" that may remain from the ravages of the government hordes?

ETA: and really, with arithmetic that ludicrously sloppy why ever would anyone be expected to presume that the rest of her thinking on the matter of the possibility of national civil unrest, a matter far more complex than simply dividing one number by another and multiplying the result by 100 to calculate the percentage, was at all accurate and copy-paste worthy?

DHS has ordered up in excess of 2 BILLION rounds of 9mm and .40cal in the last year and another 5 billion over the next 5 years PLUS 7000 full auto assault weapons.
DHS has also been supplied with these targets.

My low opinion of SP is based on what I think her ability/desire was to be VP/President (or governor, for that matter). I suspect she was very aware of her deficiencies.
But....in terms of ability to Self-Promote (the only ability that matters to her), she is a true Genius who has laughed all the way to the bank.
The true morons are those who have still not yet figured her out.

Somehow, they claim, the government is buying up all the bullets and guns so that citizens won't be able to get guns and ammunition. They claim that it is like when Roosevelt bought up all the wheat in 1937 and burned it while the poor starved - eliminated from the gene pool.
When the government and drug dealers buy up all the ammunition and guns, citizens will be at their mercy - and defenseless against criminals.
The gun nuts always have some conspiracy theory - so more will send money to the NRA.
