Does anyone here think Bug will ever one time use the terms "communist", "socialist" or
"Marxist" correctly?

Oh and the idea that "96% of Americans who see through the BS flowing  from this regime's
gun  grabbing socialist, communist, Marxist agenda!" is laughable  hysterical right-wing
rhetoric totally unsupported by sources(time and time again large large minorities are
in favor of background checks). THe idea the public was in support of voting against
Manchin/Toomey rather than for it and that they are more upset with Obama's position on
Gun control than Republicans is the kind of upside down reality that  right-wingers
like Bug(including right-wingers like Bug who will occasionally will say  things specifically
to give the impression that they aren't that right-wing than they really  are) was

Bug thinks ^^ this disproves "the"(and yes "the" is spelled "the")

What does bug quoting from the infamously unreliable right-wing briebart, disprove what assertion from
me in this thread or prove what assertion from him?

Does it prove his early idiotic assertion "They are just like the rest of the 96% of  Americans who see
through the BS flowing from this regime's gun grabbing socialist, communist, Marxist agenda!"
No

Does it prove is other idiotic assertion: "Only the state run media outlets cover the garbage from this anti

No.

Does it relate to the OP?

NO

So what is the point of Bug's response other than to present more irrelevant trolling?

No, it's because the liberals lost.  It's become a liberal agenda to attack the opposition, be rude, be insulting, call names, and rant and rave about the opposition.

We see it all the time here in the TPA, and now we see where it comes from.....the top down.

"Intolerance" is not defined as examining the rights and needs of the public with due regard to the institutions and laws of our country, except in the mind of the paranoid delusional.

The liberals didn't "lose", nor did anyone "win".

The current Congress didn't, and doesn't, represent their constituents all that well, but that can change. This debate isn't over. That doesn't mean anyone will lose any "rights", but it may very well mean that adjustment will come, however slowly. The only thing that is sure is that the absolutists in this matter will very probably not win the ongoing argument, though I sincerely doubt that any "right" will be curtailed to the extent that you and your paranoid friends suggest.

No liberals and mainstream America didn't lose. 54-46(and remember the 2012 election?) but
because of your party's filibustering liberals and mainstream America(and you aren't a
mainstream American slinger. You're on the fringe far right) didn't get the 60 votes

as for being rude, oh that is your side more than any side.  Talk radio, in particular, is
filled with right-wingers foaming at the mouth accusing liberals of this or that and their
sheeple followers accusing liberals of the most absurd things. Take yourself for example
slinger, you routinely misuse the terms marxist, socialist, communist to smear liberals
with. Bug on this forum does the same thing but then doesn't call Chomsky those labels
even though Chomsky has described himself as a socialist or form of it.

Its also your party that shuts down opposing views in townhalls or presidential rallies
(just compare and contrast how Bush and McCain handled dissenters to Obama and Kerry.
In Israel Obama was heckled by someone and the rest of the audience started to boo the
heckler but Obama said essentially don't boo the heckler and that this is what open
free discussions are about.  Mccain and Bush would have people removed who didn't even
say anything)

So look in the mirror slinger

Because only someone with a narrow mind could point out the obvious inconsistency of you
claiming that you're a "loyal democrat" and a fan of Chomsky on the one hand but then on
the other hand spewing an promulgating just about every right-wing tripe that Chomsky
and a "loyal democrat" would disavow?

First of all you specifically said Chomsky wasn't a socialist while Feinstein was so your
trying to sidestep this obvious inconsistency with your remark "wow the connect can happen
with liking aspects of Chomsky and aspects of Republicans." has been duly noted

You clearly don't know enough about Chomsky to make any kind of comparison with Chomsky
with anyone. Only a complete ignoramus would say Feinstein was a socialist while denying
Chomsky was one.

So it is inconsistent and and the clear evidence that its inconsistent is that you can't give an
argument showing its consistent. In fact you avoid this all together because you know you can't
reconcile it.

All you have to say about this is that I'm narrow minded and an absolutist but like just about
all of your posts, this is yet another assertion without logic, evidence and proof. This
is the way a child argues.  A child makes assertion after assertion in which the assertions
aren't accompanied with a corresponding logical argument.  You're a little child

From the story:
QUOTE
On Thursday, Mr. Scarborough, a registered Republican who promotes his conservative credentials as well as an independent streak, assailed the lawmakers who voted against the background check legislation. Citing the failed Senate vote as evidence, Mr. Scarborough said, "This party is moving toward extinction."

That would come as news to Fox fans, who have heard comparatively little about the subject. While most of "Joe" was dedicated to guns on Thursday, Fox's morning show, "Fox & Friends," didn't mention the word once. It focused instead on news about a Texas fertilizer plant explosion.

If it bleeds it leads, that's nothing new.  The fertilizer plant explosion is a bigger story than the President talking about something that didn't happen.  Both Fox and MSNBC are so tailored to their respective audiences that both are of little value as news sources.

but ya the  fertilizer plant explosion is an important story.

Did you know it was last inspected by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in 1985?

the plant has shaky history and there is definitely a question of lax oversight

That should be the story getting coverage, imo.  While so many are calling for new federal laws regarding individual sale of firearms, the feds aren't doing their duty now enforcing laws already on the books concerning corporations producing volatile chemicals.  According the that story, the last contact they had with the plant was in 2006 and they found violations... Seems like that would provoke a return trip before now..
Sure has a much bigger impact on public safety and the environment than me selling an old revolver or shotgun to someone without reporting it to the feds.

Given we have a limited amount of federal resources, use them to enforce laws that improve BOTH public safety and the environment..  that is if the corporate masters will allow it.

Why advocate new layers of federal laws when these very important ones seem to be neglected?, is what I'm saying.
