We bugged hitler's soldiers, even had an M(19) officer pretend to be a Lord so generals would open up to him.

Too bad we weren't smart enough to do this instead Gitmo?

I am sure, but being in isolation, or open cages, or blaring music, or recovering from water boarding doesn't get folks talking.

And we probably wouldn't have a bunch of folks now mentally ill from their treatment we don't know what to do with after their inadmissible false confessions

The prisoners at Gitmo who can't be tried and convicted should be set free, but they should be implanted with some kind of micro device whereby we can track their location.

The biggest argument against releasing them is they'll go back and join a terrorist group. The implant turns that negative into a big plus for intel.

Interesting idea.  An implant even in an innocence would be less abusive than continued imprisonment.  Of course someone made crazy from Gitmo, is a disaster waiting to happen, but still might work.

Think if we (had) treated them well, they wouldn't be any crazier, and only a bit mad at us, if innocent, and I image we would know allot more by now.

If you look at how German prisoners, and American citizens of Japanese descent were treated during WWII and now Arabs post 9/11, it's hard to ignore racism.
