Will the governor of the Lone Star state make another run for prez in 2016?  If so, what are his strong points and weaknesses...???  Is Rick a serious candidate after his last try...???

Happy Trails,

RS

what are his strong points

His hair, and the idiocy of a large segment of Texas voters.

Nor for Perry.

I would certainly hope the R's could come up with stronger candidates than Rick Perry.

It's way past time that Texas shared Perry with the rest of the country.

This would be funny if it wasn't posted by the likes of RS, TDale, Slinger etc. (IOW, the "Buggyboo intellectuals" gang). I'm guessing that this group truly believes Perry (and Palin, for that matter) would be a great leader. Not funny.

I have relatives in Texas who feel the same way.

However, given the recent Washington Post article about Ted Nugent, including the fact that he lives most of the year in Texas and is friends with Perry, may push Palin off the ticket.

A Nugent/Palin ticket would be funny if it weren't so damn scary.

I was watching our DFW TV coverage of Rick's announcement today that he will not run for re-election for governor.

Some of his supporters were discussing his possible future options, including a presidential bid.

One option was that he might join a Conservative Think Tank.

No comment, I just wanted to pass that suggestion along.

Great.  Now I have a picture in my head of Rick Perry wearing water wings in a kiddie pool.

Thanks.

The Caliph of Texastan, like Palin, should consider roles on sit-coms, because taking them seriously is just insane.
