This morning, as I sat thinking/dreaming/scheming of past/future trips to sunnier climes, I began to revisit some of my photos from a southwest trip, in the spring of 2010. I noticed that I'd never processed the following photos...

Horseshoe Bend, northern Arizona:

Horseshoe Bend: Layered rocks

Antelope Canyon, northern Arizona:

Antelope Canyon: Up the rabbit hole

Antelope Canyon: Shadows and light

Antelope Canyon: Textures

Antelope Canyon: Neck

Antelope Canyon: Curves and lines

Antelope Canyon: Beam

Arches National Park, Utah:

Arches National Park: Arches galore

Arches National Park: Blue-bird day

Arches NP: Fin

Arches National Park: Guardians

Arches National Park: Sunburst at North Window Arch

Arches National Park: Admiring North Window Arch

Monument Valley, southern Utah:

Monument Valley: Gorgeous day

...I need a southwest fix next year!

Great shots there, GaliWalker!

I hope you don't mind that I favoured one of them in flickr.

I just love the color of Zion - every year I say "I need to get back there next year" - hopefully it will happen next year.

Firedancer, my "dreaming of the awesome Southwest" has becoming a bit more concrete: in two months I'll be back in there!

Unfortunately, since I want to see mostly new places, I've only got a single day, as of now, in Zion.
