That blog is not all that good. The graphics make it difficult, if not impossible, to read - who decided to use gray lettering on a grayish sky background? Probably the same person who joins backpacking forums just to promote his inane blog.

I write a blog about camping/hiking/outdoors. Feel free to check it out and message me with what you think. I try to focus heavily on photography and creative writing.

I'm working on mine, it's in my sig. It takes time to write quality content, so it's going to take a while to transfer all of my trips onto the site, but it's coming along slowly.

Looking good Metalman and Idaho Bob.
My wife and I are doing a similar thing; outdoor news aggregator and hiking/backpacking articles and podcast.
It's a lot of work. Driving traffic is perplexing at times. But, it takes a year for the "long tail" effect to start showing results. Keep at it, post often and you might blog yourself into a full time job!

I've had my website since before "blogging" became a household word - not sure if it counts as a blog, but it does feature my hikes and rambles out in the great outdoors...

Wow, some good content in those blogs...looking forward in particular to reading the post about Maroon Bells more closely, that area is on my list.
Here's my blog to add to the pile - covers photography and hiking. It's still growing, but includes trip reports from the Milford Track, Yosemite High Sierra Camps, some Utah slot canyons, Salkantay Trek, Kilimanjaro, and more.
