If I had to pick a single spot for photography I'd pick Antelope Canyon, near Page, Arizona. It's super crowded, but if you can maintain an even temperament the rewards are great. Here are some photos from my one and only trip, so far, in March 2010:

Feel free to add photos from your single most photogenic spot.

I've never wangled a visit to Antelope Canyon, but have to agree it's one of the best. Can't really pick just one for me, but the whole CO Plateau would cover most of the best.

The CO plateau is full of interesting spots. You could spend a lifetime there and still have any number of cool spots left over...
A few more shots from Antelope Canyon:

Pariah Canyon and Buckskin Gulch are among my fondest memories from trips out there. I'd love to get back there with my digital camera--I ended up doing most of that trip with our back-up P&S after my husband dropped his SLR in the river (and took mine so he--the better photographer--could keep shooting).
Those shots are all slides. We really need to do some serious scanning and editing.

Great set of spots, Tarol! I'll take any or all of those.

Very cool tarol. I particularly enjoyed seeing the Wave photos; on every trip I make to the southwest I try and get permits to it. Four attempts so far but no cigar.

The trick is either to get reservations, or spend a week or so in the area and everyday go to the station in the morning to put your name in the lotto. Each consecutive day you double your chances, literally, as they add twice the number of balls under your name. I think it took us 3 days before we got a permit! The thing is, though, don't think that your time will be wasted - there is a ton of other spectacular things to see in the area And it is totally worth the permit hassle as this is one spectacular spot, and the hike there is pretty dang cool, too.

Drat, I didn't know that coming on successive days allowed one more chances - one of my attempts was on successive days!
