Ideas for solo hiking in the Strip.  In good shape.  Will be camping at the BLM campground.

Depends where on the Strip you’ll be? There is a lot of land there. I have been near Kelly Vista for work, but not much backpacking to be done there.

I hear the Grand Wash Cliffs are very nice.

Also I know of a friend that backpacked Paiute Wilderness and had great things to say about it. I believe he said it was 15 miles one-way.

I would recommend checking out HikeAZ.com for some trip reports for the area, lots of good people on there with loads of information for the AZ Strip.

You should have a pretty great time though, the AZ Strip is still truly, a true wilderness. Good luck and let us know what you end up doing!
