I posted this in the main forum.  An instructor with the outdoor guide/surval school in northern WI is apparently missing in Alaska.  Those of you who've been to the Nicolet Area, they are located just out of Three Lakes on Military Rd.

I sure hope he's okay.  I grew up reading adventure stories about survival in the wilderness and would like more than anything to read about this adventure -- with a happy ending.

I haven't been able to find much in the line of an update on this story -- the most recent information I could find is from Dec. 7th.   Hopefully he's still alive and will be found, but as time goes by, that is less and less a likelihood.
