Headed into the Shoshone National Forest this July. Fitzpatrick Wilderness area. Descending Knifepoint Glacier and will be in the North Fork of Bull Lake creek area. Who has photos of this area that they are willing to post?

Here's one of Indian Pass looking toward another INdian Pass. I have several taken from here but only this one is online. Shoot me a PM with your email addy and I'll send you the few others I have if you want. FWIW, the descent didn't look too tough but Dave would know better than I

Not going into Upper Dry Creek vigil? You will be right there after you cross the 2nd Indian Pass.

Here are a few pictures from the top of the pass

Hope that helps. I am thinking I may have to get back up there this summer.

From a ways below the E side of the S Indian Pass.

I could make it out from the Upper Dry Creeks to Island Lk in a long day with a nearly empty pack at my prime. Now, I'd camp up in Indian Basin, as high as I could, to shave 4-5 mi off .

Charlie, I can email you some photos I took last August/September. I came over the alpine lake pass, down to the foot of the glacier, and then up and over Indian pass. I was south of where the photographer stood in swimswithtrout's photo, and much closer to the glacier.

Nice photos, thanks.
Will be picking our way down off of the Knifepoint Glacier and cross the moraine below, then spending a night in the bottom, somewhere grassy. Then crossing North Fork of Bull Lake Creek the next.
If I was a real backpacker, I'd be spending my time in the Absarokas, right DC?

Thank goodness for senses of humor. Although I don't live in the Dunoir anymore I can still get over there pretty easily from Jackson here. Let me know if you need help with a shuttle or something, I'd do my best to work it out.
