Me & some friends are looking to do the Four Pass Loop in mid March, we understand it will be snow covered but will it still be do able? If not, what would be a good 3-4 day trail near by?

I would imagine the avalanche danger will be pretty high as March is a big snowfall month in Colorado. Unless you are highly skilled at backcountry snow travel and avalanche assessment, it probably isn't a safe trip.

How much winter camping winter camping experience do you have in the Rocky Mountains?

If the answer is "none" don't even consider it.

Dude, 4- Pass in March ?? Think "Aspen", think peak ski season, think snow.

Is it doable ? Yes, if you're prepared ! This isn't Aspen but it IS Colorado in JUNE !

DON'T DO IT!!!!

Likely to snow during that time of year.
Likely to avalance that time of year.
Likely to need SAR that time of year.

The routes simply zigzag and switchback on terrain that is often times prime for avalanches anyway going up to most of the passes.  Or pass below such areas.
