If you had to make a choice for several days in the Bechler area, would you pick 9/7 - 9/12, or 9/21 - 9/26?

Either one, IMO, would be fine but I think I'd go with the earlier date just because the chances of decent weather are better.. The Bechler is absolutely wonderful in the fall.  Have a great trip.

I think anyone that does not include Dunanda Falls and Mr. Bubbles on a Bechler trip makes a big mistake.

I've been there on the later date and it was wonderful.  Be prepared to sleep at 15 degrees or lower.  I still have a picture taken in 1993 hanging in my office of Boundry Creek.   Looks awesome, but it was cold.  From what I have heard Bechler is to be avoided until late August due to mosquitos.   Earlier may give you a better chance of good weather, not to mention more daylight.
