Does anybody know how much snow fell on the Dolly Sods as a result off Sandy? Is there an online site that provides that info on a regular and accurate basis?
I'm scheduled to go there The weekend of Nov 17th with a friend or two and they're expressing concern about the amount of snow that fell or to expect.

The live cam (link below) has been down since 1:30 am Tuesday. Before that, all I could see were the 2 trees right in front of the camera, whiteout. Try calling the state park or other local ski areas.

Check out the Daily Report on Whitegrass.com. (a neighboring xc ski area). We got over 2' of snow in Garrett Co. MD, which is north of Dolly Sods. I think they got more snow than we did.

We were up in northern Dolly Sods snowshoeing yesterday. The snow is about two feet deep in most places, deeper in drifts.
I'll post pictures this evening.

We hiked up from Timberline on the west side, so I'm not actually sure. There's still a lot of storm damage, so we just assumed that most of the roads to the trailheads (including FR 75) are closed.
