I think we missed last year

I have this planned

Meet Friday night at Rt 30 right at Caledonia State Park. Do a little night hike on Friday about 3 miles to Rocky Mountain Shelter

Saturday about 7 miles to Antietam Shelter
Sunday about 6 miles to MD Pen Mar trail head

Should be an easy hike with short mileage days to match the short days in January. We will have to do a car shuttle.

Meet here http://goo.gl/maps/Vwyuj

Oh the 18th also happens to be my B-day. I'll be a half century old.

Would be nice to see the old gang back out

Moon phase looks better the following weekend, not sure about schedule yet either way though. I do want to get out someplace, my new white gas stove and new pack haven't been out yet

Following week does not work for me. This is really my only weekend in Jan to get out.

I emailed Chris about this but he sounded very confused as to what I was trying to tell him.

I'll look into it.

I'll just have to see what's happening as we get closer. Is that one on the right coming too?

No, nothing to do with Sandy. She volunteers with a group that goes down and installs stoves each year. They do about 120 families each year with a organization called Help International .

They install what is called the Onil stove

They also provide each family with a water filter
