i was there last weekend, it was quite nice.  leaves have fallen so the views all along maryland heights come through nicely.

It was beautiful, got there right around 0730.  There was a terrible breeze blowing and I honestly didn't get clear of it until I was on the hill side but it was serene and peaceful.  Next time you're there, look for a historical marker called "The highest and heaviest".  I was standing there when I saw a buck and a doe crashing through the leaves down the slope in front of me.
