Quick question. I may be in the Mount Davis Area on Sunday Jan 13, 2013. Was wondering if anyone knows of current snow depths (If any). Also can the area be access during the winter?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Here is the webcam from Laurel Ridge State Park - probably similar snow depths. They look to have about 6 inches. With the big warmup predicted for this week I bet a lot of the snow will be gone by next weekend.

State Park snow conditions

Snowmobile Trail conditions

Be sure to check the dates they were updated.  Plus, since the immediate Mt Davis area has neither State Parks nor snowmobile trails, consider contacting Forbes State Forest before you go (weekdays 8A-4P) to get a better idea.  I suspect the picnic area would be you best bet for a plowed parking area, but you should ask.

It's a nice area to hike, and with the right equipment it shouldn't be a problem in snow.
