A few pictures of my short five mile hike in SGL 106 on Saturday February 9th.

State Game Land 106 is located near Drehersville Pa. and adjacent to lands of Hawk Mountain and the nearby Appalachian Trail plus the Weiser State Forest.

The area has a nice selection of game land roads and unmarked trails. The trail network shows on the KTA Appalachian Trail Map section 1 through 6 (Dated 1998)

Did a short bushwhack  from one of the woods roads to an area shown on the maps as the Cobble. The Cobble has two nice views. On to the west from a open Talus Field.  And, a second from atop a rocky outcropping. There are no trails to the cobble.

Somehow the area up the hollows of the mountain got as much as eight inches of snow. While at the base of the mountain there may have been three or four at the most.

Made for a very scenic day in the woods. Hard to believe I never seen another person during the course of the day while hiking.
