So it looks like I'll be flying solo again for Easter this year and I'm looking for a two- or three-night BP trip.
One place I've been toying with is in Rothrock SP in PA. In particular this hike: http://www.midatlantichikes.com/mst-brushridge.htm
Big question is weather, what can I reasonably expect the last weekend of March in that neck of the woods?

I'd strongly recommend the Iron Stone Loop over that one, especially if you like steep climbs and descents, lots of rocks and wonderful views. If there is snow covering the rocks "Fo getta bout it!!!"

We have a loop hike planned in the nearby Bald Eagle SF if interested. Following a variety of trails to form a loop, maybe a little bushwhacking, beautiful area.
Check the thread for Bald Eagle State Forest loop.

It's good but I think the Iron Stone is better.

Last weekend in March in the Seven Mountains is usually not too bad. Some of the back roads can swallow vehicles a little earlier in the month. Ironstone Loop has paved approaches so will be easier to reach a week or two sooner than places like Poe Paddy or Penn Roosevelt. Might be good to at least carry microspikes.

So Easter weekend is approaching and down here in MD we got some snow this morning. How do things look like up near Rothrock?

NOHRSC has things about the same as the Weiser SF Haldeman Tract that MRHyker reported on last weekend. Some more should melt off by this weekend but we do seem to have a time shifted winter this year.
Ironstone Loop approach would be fine with hard roads. On trail would be microspikes on north sides for sure. Fortunately the Indian Steps area faces southerly but it will still be a little snotty.
I wouldn't attempt the back roads for some of the other areas this coming weekend, it's still re-freezing every night. I once pulled out a Land Rover that got caught in mud on permafrost this time of year, up Pine Swamp Road just outside the Ironstone area.
