White Grass says 24 inches at the 4,300 foot stake. I've had good luck using that as an indication of what is in Dolly Sods:

Well, I'm the most local, so I'd guess a whole bunch of it has melted int he past few days, along with some warm rain, I'd venture the FS road up there might be navigable.  Think the gate is shut though...

I drove across 93 to Davis on the way home from my cabin Sunday afternoon. There wasn't much snow up there, but that was as close as I got since I headed North from there.

The gate on FR75 will be open on April 15th. Right now Whitegrass is reporting 24" at 4300' and 20" at 4000'. I would keep an eye on their daily report before you go. If we get a late season snow and the existing has not melted you may not get through. If you're coming in from Laneville though my guess is you'll make it at least to the picnic area just past the South Prong and Rohrbaugh Plains trailheads. If coming in from the north end I'm not sure. Oh, wait, you said you're coming down next week - well then, all bets are off. We're supposed to have some warming weather but how much snow melts is anyone's guess. Watch the WG site.
