I forgot to tell y'all a funny.  On Sat. after we went to Panther Creek I was so wet and dirty that I had to pull another Nell.   I stripped off my wet jeans and boots and threw them on the back of the truck and wore one of Kenny's shirts as a skirt.  I had a frightful head of wild woman hurr.  It was full of sticks and leaves and dirt.
It felt good to at least be dry.

We stopped on foothills parkway for Kenny to get a drink out of the cooler.
There was a couple having a romantic moment up there at sunset.

I serenaded them. I was going to get out, but SOMEBODY would not let me.

something about indecent exposure and other malarky.

But i sang them a rendition of Dixie.

Buckwheat down and scratch yo grabble. Dixielands I'ma trabble.

Dis must be dem ole colored peoples talkin' bout dis hyere.
Put dat firsk page back on 'ere gurl.

*I* thought it was real romantic myself. I always appreciate anyone who wants to sing and buck dance for me. :D

Now see? Why couldn't Kenny get behind my entertainment skills?  What? He's gotta keep me outta jail? Oh yeah. There is that.  They was too much law enforcement presence that evening. A injured hiker in the Smokies and a wreck on FHPW had the law and powers that be crawling round there.
