Boys Howdy from the Wildest Flower in Tennessee.
Check out this song for Tunesday. It's about a legendary rhododendron hell down in Citico.  Woo-Hoo!

I am a sophisticated hillbilly from Virginia.  In Virginia we have something called "culture".  Pronounced cullcha.  Steeped in history. With roots in England since we began as a colony.  I grew up with parental units who took me to the woods, hell.. couldn't keep me out of the woods.........
But they also took me to theater.  I learned to love Shakespeare.  MacBeth..
How now you secret, black and midnight hags?  <~~MacBeth to the witches.

I like to remind people that I'm a Christian, but I'm a sinner.  I ain't no proper church lady. I'm more like those hags.

I love Shakespeare, opera, theater, all that.

Virginia has wonderful art museums, The Blackfriars Theater,  history, botanical gardens, outdoor theater venues, and close proximity to D.C. where there is even more.

And that my friend is how you raise a sophisticated hillbilly! :-)
