I'm already beating the snow drums. Hopefully it will be more consistent this year and once it falls it will stay.  Last year we would have a blizzard on a Tuesday and it was all melted by the following Friday.

Yeah it was great.

Livestock dying from lack of water and feed.

Crops at 25% of normal yields.

Have to carry water backpacking in places creeks and springs normally run.

Maybe you should move to Death Valley. Of course a couple more "great winters" your present location may be the same. ;-)

I loathe snow, mostly because I still have to go to work in it.  I love the cold, so I'm good with weeks on end of sub-zero sunny days and the occasional week of 35 degrees and a driving rain.  As long as the roads don't freeze, bring all the rain you want.

I don't believe it for a minute, although I would love to.  I love the snow.  Last year in my neck of the woods we got a good snow storm in October but that was it, barely cold the rest of the winter.
