I live near Delaware Water Gap, and I often hike and backpack by myself. I'd love some company. I'm experienced, and easy to get along with.  I'm capable of doing up to 15 miles per day, with a full pack,  although I'd rather keep it to around 10. Let me know if you're interested.

Check out: http://neohbackpackingclub.com/home.aspx

The club is based out of North East Ohio however many hikes are in central PA or as far east as the Loyalsock.  There are some international trips available as well.

Year to date there have been 85 backpacking trips - the largest quantity were in Pennsylvania.

Meetup groups seem to be the sweet spot for collecting backpackers together anymore, at least in the Harrisburg area.

Hiking clubs (often member groups of Keystone Trails Association) offer many day hikes. Look for Allentown Hiking Club, and Appalachian Mountain Club-Delaware Valley, in your area especially.
