Hey everyone!  I just wanted to post on this board because it seems like there are a lot of people around that are looking for good groups to get out with.  Well, if you're based in Arizona, I run a meetup group that may be right up your alley!

Originally part of another group, I split off so that I could have more creative control on our outings and such.  Anyways, we are a young, professional, fun group of people that like to get out in the wild together.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, by all means, feel free to check us out...we already have a ton of stuff on the calendar!

I know 70+ year olds that could hike circles around the 35 and unders. So the age restriction is reasonable - got to protect their egos....

This could be a good thread with some work. Question: i want to go on one of these "trek" thingies. But, I am from another country and was never given my birth certificate. Must i show birth certificate? Can i bring a notarized letter to my age? I do not understand your customs.

As noted above, he removed the age restrictions some time ago, following some discussion on HAZ.

I'd like to join a rigorous trekking group, but I'm afraid my butt poochies out too far.
