"october" promotion code works, but make sure it's all in lower case.  Don't capitalize anything or it doesn't work.  :)

It is only useful if people only post the deal here, if you want to discuss it use another thread. Else the deals will simply be lost in the noise.

I think if someone posts a deal like the Nalgene deal and it's dependent on a code, and someone replies with "I tried it, it works," or the opposite - I think it's more than necessary to be included in this thread if the deal is bogus.

It's a thread, not a gear sale subforum where each deal can get it's own post al a BPL.

It is what it is, useful in my opinion with whatever limited 'interruption' it contains.  That's not the word I'd use, either.  It's useful, if not to you, then no harm to me.

The ebay auction is useful because the seller has multiple whisperlites available. It's also a buy it now or best offer auction so it's good to know who's offers got accepted and how much they got off the asking price.
