I don't care if it's for women, the down scarf is awesome: nice and light and warm. No more struggling with extra toggle on the draft collar in my sleeping bag!

You know, they do make them for men, too. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

That could be a good DIY project. I have a bunch of down but not enough for a quilt. Thanks for the idea.

I already made a down balaclava (and camp booties) but hubby won't wear one even though he'd be better off with his lack of hair and all. Maybe he'll wear a scarf. Our anniversary is coming up soon.........

Next best thing
I picked up one of these just the other day, off of BPL, to go with my Nunatak Arc Specialist quilt. This way I can use it in the winter more comfortably
Need to get out to try it but it looks like it won't be till January before that happens.

Obviously putting the hood on is easy. After that you just snap the quilt around you neck, this is on the back behind your head. Then you pull your arms in and pull the draw cord to cinch the quilt around your neck.
I starting to love quilts since I hate having my arms trapped in a sleeping bag. With a quilt my arms can just slide out. So a mental thing for me. Just as warm and much lighter

Not a great deal but good, yeah I think so. The guy said he requested 2 oz extra fill and was basically new other than one use. I paid $90 shipped to me. I need to weigh it to see what it weighs.
Dam warm around the house last night.

Two more? Wow, it should look like a basketball. ;-)
That would be more than 3200 cu in of insulation!
Yeah, if it weighs over 6 oz it must be so. Nice
