But my beautiful lady sure knows how to make her man happy.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Twelve inches of solid 800-fill loft.  I love my wife.  Geese don't, lol.

Sorry, this thread has no purpose other than to brag. :;):  It wasn't a superfluous excess purchase, either.  Going to Greenland this Spring (and likely a number of more times in the future), it will be used well.  I'm giddy tonight!  Love you babydoll!

But that would stop me from being jealous of such an incredible experience! I hope you get to push your bag to it's limit!

Maybe as I've used mine in August in Yosemite Valley on the night before a high trip where I didn't want to bother bringing stuff just for the one night before and after extra...., fully unzipped and mostly just covering my waist. It's amazing how inefficient you can make most anything.

Mike,

What is the orange bag next to the Marmot?

Another Marmot.  A 0*F Couloir, specifically.  I got it at an REI Garage sale for ~40% off, and two days later my wife decided to "upgrade" it and buy me the -40* CWM like-new on Craigslist.  Now I'm looking to sell the Couloir to recoupe part of the price for the CWM.

I bought the Couloir for $280 (long, retails at $479), I'll sell it for the same $280, shipping included.  It's used but in very good shape (the return excuse on the REI tag was that it "had dog hair and dirt on it", obviously a manufacturing defect )... I'll wash with down wash and dry it completely before sending it out to anyone.

If no one picks it up here I'll probably just post it to Craigslist, or eBay.  I was gonna wash it and take pictures before selling it, but if anyone wants to pick it up early, I'm game (I'd still wash it before shipping).

Opposite for me, having that bag would push me to hit a couple of items on my bucket list sooner rather than later.
