I'm still looking to find the ideal waterproof glove for bicycling. I'm not particularly concerned with warmth. In fact, I don't want it to be too warm, but I would like it to be waterproof and somewhat breathable. Reasonably priced, say around $30.00, would be a plus.
Any suggestions?

I have used a decent deer skin work glove treated a few times with snowpruf or silicone spray. Once they soften up they work pretty well.

Gore makes a range of gloves. I've used some of their summer miller mitt style but they do full gloves as well:

Checked out the Sealskinz at a local shop. They look like they fit the bill pretty well. Thanks for the tip.

Try to not stress the thumb seam too much. I hear that is the most common point of failure. Knowing that going in, I have had no problems.

I have the Sealskinz gloves and used them once for Mtnbiking.Why only once? my hands froze 
I have a variety of gloves for biking a backpacking and find Gore and Polartec my favorites.
You may find neoprene just the ticket but my hands sweat then freeze.If you do decide to go with Sealskinz i suggest the use of a thin liner glove.

Seirus has a great line of water proof/windproof gloves that stretch and breathe. Very form fitting / low profile. I got mine at the Base PX for $22. You can find them online too...
If its good enough for the army its good enough for me......well usually!

Save up your shekels and get some Pearl Izumi gloves.
Since I started wearing PI cycle gear nothing else will do, remarkably good gear.

Thanks Ron. I agree about PI. I have a number of their products and they are good. Pricey, though. Kellem, thanks for the comments, but I'm not really worried about the cold. I'll be riding in areas that if I can keep my hands dry, I'm pretty sure they'll stay warm. Flanker, I'll look into Seirus products.

If you go with the Seirus XTreme gloves be careful when taking them off.
If you are sweaty you can pull the inside liner including the waterproof liner out with your hand when removing them.
I have big paws and the XL barely fit so it was a tight squeeze putting them on and taking them off to begin with.
Never could get the fingers of the liner(s) back in the main part of the glove after that
Other than that unfortunate episode they kept my hands dry and warm on many a fall mountainbike ride.
