I'm about to buy a hiking stove. And i'm confused. But after a long search i've found the Optimus Vega Stove. My question is. Does anyone have any experience with this stove. And can anyone tell if i can put it in the MSR 1,1L Alpine Stowaway Pot

I tested the model prior to it. The difference is the inverted canister now, which is better in cold weather.

For about the same price you can get the MSR Wind Pro 2.
It has a lifetime warranty instead of a two year, and it's built to match.

Works great, and also has the invertable canister.
I've always thought the Optimus stoves felt kind of fragile.

I have used a Optimus crux since they came out.......no problems in build quality.  No problems in cold or at altitude either with a regular canister.
