So I noticed an ever so slight pin hole beginning in the screen of the door of my big agnes copper spur ul 3. How do I keep this from becoming a large hole. I love my tent and would hate to have to replace the entire thing.
thanks

Depending on how fussy you are about cosmetic, you can put a small blob of Seam Grip, sew it up or stick a circular patch of your favourite gaffer tape

Brilliant !!! Yes , I know that works on nylon stockings and you might already have some about, I do. ( I offer instant repairs to ladies on public transport. Still waiting for an Order Of the British Empire or something like that from Betty for services rendered to the community)

If you can sew on a button, you can sew a small hole shut. It's what I did with an old tent of mine. Thread a needle, then sew the tiny hole shut all around -- best way to prevent further tearing.
As for nail polish, I don't see that being a long term solution -- unless the hole is truly teeny tiny.

thanks for the additional comment and it is truly a teeny tiny hole, barely noticeable, I had to really hunt to find it, to fix it. almost thought for a moment maybe i just imagined the hole - yup tiny.
Already applied the clear finger nail polish so we will see how well this works.
I wouldn't dare take a needle to the tent, with my luck I would make the hole bigger.

Use Aquaseal, its made to order for this type of repair. It will be stronger than original. I'm a diver and I've been using it for 25 years.

i have already put the fingernail polish on this, am assuming i am now committed to this type repair?
this last trip was like a gear disaster, 2 tears in my fly, noticed small hole in my screen and then I inflated my mattress and threw it down in the grass and layed on it - a stick punctured it and it deflated immediately.
On the up side, I learned the importance of carrying repair stuff and how to repair all the above mentioned stuff. and it didn't rain that trip.

Ignore it. If it gets bigger then worry about it. It might never get bigger
