I bought three of the HH wool blend 1/4 zip about 5 years ago - I usually wear a poly t-shirt, an HH, then a light shell.  after the initial warm up, the shell comes off and I hike in just the HH and poly t-shirt until I stop for a rest.

Despite its heinous color, my HH turtleneck has been my favorite baselayer for 18 years (I think it's finally getting old).  I've never been disappointed in anything from HH.  I haven't seen any of their wool stuff yet, but I'll keep an eye out for it.

Good to know about "regular" vs. "athletic" fit.  Thanks.
