I'm in Australia, so will most likely be importing a pack from overseas, and I've 90% settled on a Deuter ACT Lite 65+10 as a good combination of weight, price and reliability. So I started looking around and came across this:

It is shipping from Vietnam, and comes to approx $140 shipped. What do you guys think, genuine, or not?
FYI I'm after something which is around 75L as I'll probably be one of the mules in the group and we're not exactly roughing it.
Sorry for two newbie questions so quickly!

I wouldn't. Ordering diectly from these kinds of places is risky. I know things are stupidly expensive there so I can understand your desire to save some cash, but you can probably find a good deal in the USA from a legit retailer and have it shipped for less than buying there in Oz.

I have the 55+10 and it is a great pack. Love it and it has been used and abused. However not getting a good feeling in my gut about this listing. Have to agree with the others with those shipping charges think you can get a deal just as good from a know seller.

I'd order from a legit source... But as for the bag, I have a ACT deuter 75L bag. It's heavy, at six pounds. I thought about buying the ACT Lite 60L. It's half the weight, but I hate to invest in a new bag, as my current one still looks new ,and feels great. I know the ACT lite is a little lighter on the padding and the cloth, and is missing some pockets, the integrated rainfly, etc.
Most everyone i know has Gregory or Osprey. I'm the only deuter toter in my group, but it's a great pack.
