After 23 yrs I decided it was time for a new tent and got myself an Easton Kilo 3. I will be taking the wife on her first trip, a short section hike on the A.T. in NC and need to make sure all goe's well. my ? is should I treat the tent with anything beore hand or will it be good to go.

It is ready to go. The seams are taped, no extra sealing necessary.

That's a great looking tent! I can't believe I've never heard of it before now. After watching a few different videos, it looks like a great choice. If you have a chance, please share your experiences after the trip. I'd like to hear more.

Wow, that is a very light tent for the size, and it looks super spacious above too. I too would like to hear a review from the OP.

thanks ray thats what I thought but using the same tent foe 20+ yrs had me spoiled. Vino I'll post a review for sure, I met a couple of guys last year on the A.T. who had the Kilo 1 they loved them. a little price but 3 lbs for a 3 person tent is worth it ( I hope ).
