For me, it's Pabst. Quite a few years ago, a local store offered free cases and even my husband didn't want to touch the stuff.

When I was young, about an eternity ago, growing up in Indiana, PBR was the easiest beer to get so that's what we drank. A couple of years ago a friend and I decided to order one at a bar for old times sake. We couldn't even make it through the first bottle and had to order something else.

Leine's Berry Weiss...

Putting fruit flavor in beer is like... well... putting fruit flavor in beer. Some things just don't go together.

Oh... I won't drink Corona, either. Everything else is fair game, and lots of it, please!

Anything brew by AnheuserBusch. Beers brewed east of the Mississippi. I also steer clear of clear bottle beers.

I once tried a beer from a small brewery, It was called Weirsteins (or something like that) Boar's Head Red.

I tasted like rotten cranberries, horrible!

I won't drink beers that are mass produced, I like the smaller and micro breweries the best. My favorite is Yuengling Lager and thier Black and Tan

I won't touch cheap beer of any kind. Won't try any beer that has some kind of fruit in the name. Or any malt liquor!!!! :_|

Give me a good pale ale, IPA, or the occasional stout. Or a good Livermore Valley red (Murietta's Well Vendemia 1999 for example). Or a nice 18 year old MacAllen, budget permitting. Wink Good stuff, all of it!

PS - it's the Livermore Wine Festival this weekend. Our wineries are well known (Wente and Concannon, especially). Should be a great weekend, watching folks stagger off the shuttles from one winery to the next... Big Grin

There are many, but all alone at the top of th list is Gennessee Cream Ale.

This is the nastiest concoction to ever come out of brewery.

Tuff one. Don't drink BUD. It makes me a mean drunk.
Last year we were in the smokies and found 2 old and I do mean Old Milwaukee's in a stream. Poured them into a cup and drank them down. Tasted good on the trail but I wouldn't have had them if I wasn't hard up for a beer.LOL
I have been drinking odd beers lately. Bastards ale. Sieara Nevada.

On a hot day, if I'm thirsty and it's the only cold beer around, I'll drink almost anything.

Someone mentioned brandywine. Personally I don't care for anything stronger than Trappist Ale. It gets to a point where it's just too much.

Given the choice I prefer IPA, Belgian Ale, Stout, or Porter.

Anything made out of rice is automatically off the list, which excludes 30% of them right off the start. I'm not too keen on wheat beers either, so there goes a few more. If it has to be ice cold to be tolerable you can throw those out also.

The all time worst would have to be Rolling Rock.

Isn't that a 3.2 version of Pabst? I remember you had to drink a whole case to get a buzz. It's embarrassing what we would drink as younguns.

Reminds me of something I heard the other night. "There's only three types of beer. Your beer, my beer and free beer."
