I know it'snot the weekend, but I'm still opening up the Backpacker Bar
I'm going to ask Hoosierdaddy to be the Bartender 'cause he is the man when it comes to mixing drinks
First thing to celebrate: Lizbaby is getting stronger everyday and is making a miraculous recovery. Yay for Lizbaby!! :\

Second, today I had my LAST radiation treatment for breast cancer (30 treatments over the last six weeks)

So, do you have anything you would like to add to the celebration list? If not, then come on in and celebrate with us anyway!

I don't normally chime in. I'm more lurker. I mean I've never been to pickle gulch and i've never worn a kilt but I'd raise a glass with you all. In fact tomorrow I'm getting married so it should be a great weekend to celebrate.

I have a friend who is having a baby today. So that's good.
And of course, you and Lisa are worth celebrating.

Our list of things to celebrate is getting longer - yay!!
Cajunhiker - a pay raise is good! It's been too long!
Van - it won't be long until your baby boy arrives.
Cuester - congrats on your upcoming wedding (tomorrow)
Tigger - that's wonderful about Brayden being out of surgery and in recovery. I hope he does well.
MsD - another new baby arriving today! Best wishes to your friend and her new little one. Babies are always worth celebrating

My sister just had a baby on our deceased dad's birthday, my brother and his wife just visited for the first time in over ten years for both of their birthdays, and our grandpa turned 90 the day after my brother. So it was really a kind of family reunion. I finally start work some time in the next couple of weeks, after nearly a year of unemployment. And my rat, Zeus, has started eating again after a serious abscess and a couple of surgeries.
Beer me.

I was slammed in my truck last week. Although it is apparently totaled I was fortunate to walk away with just a few scrapes and bruises. Is inconvenient as the other guy's insurance company has proven to be I am REALLY LUCKY.

Since it's so early in the day, I'll take strong, black coffee and cheer very loudly.
BTW, did you get my reply emails? I got yours, but have not heard back from you yet.
Celebrate? Me? Yes, waking up and breathing. That's always a good reason to celebrate.
