I knew yesterday was the end of Daylight Savings time, but did not set any clocks back before I went to bed. I got up when I felt like it, about 7, and it turned out to be 6. I will be going around the house setting clocks back this morning.

My husband's school turned them back about noon on Friday and everyone kept getting confused the rest of the day

I did, but I really didn't notice the "extra" hour of sleep. I feel kind of cheated. And now we're plunged an hour deeper into darkness in the early evening. Can't wait for winter solstice.

I love setting my clock back. I hate setting it forward. It would be great if I could set the clock back an hour every day or two.

I don't believe in time. It is like climate change - a myth.

Better go change my watch, since it's my alarm. Got the others, except the clock in the guest room which has been way off since the power went out a couple weeks back. . .

Two of my Grandmas brothers ran a dairy/hog farm in northern Illinois. They refused to change their clocks because the animals were used to being fed or milked on a schedule. So they had farm time which sometimes matched us in Wyoming and sometimes matched their town

That actually sort of makes sense, Echo.
When I went to change my alarm watch, I remembered that I needed to change the thermostat, too. That's a rarity--I almost always forget.

Forgot to, CW reminded me of the fact this morning, had to get up way to early to do a long hike this morning. It felt almost like being given an extra hour of sleep

I absolutely hate time changing. It messes with a lot of our stuff at work.
And I got the short stick this time... I was on nightshift so working through it. While everyone else usually get an extra hour of sleep, I got to work an extra hour. @%^#&! lol

The stove and the clock in the car are the only ones that I need to concern myself about. All others change automatically.
Personally I would rather stay on DST all year.
