I thought about including the Clash with my Ramones pick above, but I think that they could actually tour without Joe and pull it off. After his death there was talk of them doing it and it really looked like it would happen.

To me it wouldn't be the same without JS. I got a whole new appreciation for him after watching the documentary 'Let's Rock Again' - you should see it if you get the chance.

I agree that it wouldn't be the same without Joe, what band is ever the same without a key member? But I think that like other great bands The Clash could have found a person that would have been a match and given the world one final tour.
