Now it's time to find a job, most likely writing reports like that several times a year and they get reviewed by the people paying the bill.  Just finished one today that's been in the works for 6 months.

hmmmm, yeah I had a consulting job years ago like that.  not what I wanna do.

I have feelers out in a few different areas at the moment, and what I wind up with will depend on what comes available at the time, I think.  I'm moving to a market where my skillset is not in terribly high demand, so I will have to be flexible.  But private consulting is not it.
