Just curious how often folks launder their linens -- sheets, blankets / comforter covers?

Well I change them (sheets, pillow covers) weekly, I launder them when I've got a washer load. Blankets etc. are seasonal as they pretty much just sit there getting less contact than seat cushions so they get cleaned just before being stored.

Weekly. Comforters are down, I change the duvet covers every month. Used to do it more often, but when our kittie passed away in summer, it doesn't get all dirty/furry anymore

Unless I bleed all over them, I change my bed linens every other week, and then wash them. Of course, I try to keep some older towels close by the bed for those unexpected blood loses. Things tend to be messy in my line of entertainment.

Sheets every couple of weeks. Quilt and blanket seldom, but I cover them with a bed spread that I wash monthly to keep dust down.

After I started following the flylady.com plan, Mondays are a 60 minute home blessing, including changing sheets, emptying all trash cans, tossing old magazines and catalogues and sweeping or vacuuming only the main traffic centers of all the rooms. i used to never know when I'd get around to it, now it just seems to take care of itself.

Considering I've been using a sleeping bag on top of a dog blanket laid out on a bed (the dog takes half), not for at least the last 16 years so far.

I change the sheets and comforter cover once a week. The down comforter gets cleaned only about once a year, if needed. When it gets cold, I will add a blanket. That will get washed as needed.

When I was growing up we changed the sheets every Saturday. I am less stuck on that, because we shower daily (which we didn't then), usually right before going to bed. Honestly, I should probably reverse things and wash the bedspread weekly and the sheets monthly--the dust is probably more of an issue.

You use a washcloth in the shower? What ever for?
I shampoo my hair, then before rinsing it all out, I take some of the suds and smear them around various places, reloading my hand as necessary from the ample suds in my hair. Saves soap, and washcloths.

When? Basically whenever I really feel like it. It's not like there is anyone here to set a schedule for such things.
I'm not a fan of rolling over every night and getting a good whiff of industrial laundry perfumes. It's like asphyxiation among the fake flowers -- overdoing a good thing, you might say.
I shower often enough that it's no big deal. So, short answer: whenever I get around to it.

I try to wash them weekly, sometimes that gets pushed to every week and half, depending on schedules and what is going on.
