It's always satisfying to get a new dish squared away.  I just wish I could sustain the same motivation through cooking some things more often. Making crabcakes from hard-shell crabs is an awful lot of work.

I cheated using canned crab.  Good canned crab but canned.

I was after the perfect binder.  Just hold the meat together and give it a little flavor boost.  Nailed it.
