A few years ago (probably 2008 or 2009) Backpacker Mag ran an article about the sport science of backpacking.  I remember there was information about VO2 max testing, body composition, etc.... I teach health/PE and would love my for my Outdoor Recreation students to read the article but I can't find it in any of my back issues.  Does anyone remember this article and when it was written.  BTW, it is not the article comparing body characteristics by age category which was written more recently.  Thanks.
