Well, the super computer that beat the human contestants on jeopardy has the ability to be fed information from multiple sources much faster than any person, and has been updated since the jeopardy contest. Well, bottom line is that they are now turning its ability to input data and analyze and make connections and keep up with new info. to use in the battle against that old arch-enemy

But I share the hope that it can help. As I have found out over the past several years, cancer is not only the suckiest disease that ever sucked, it's also maddeningly complicated to treat. Patients with what seem to be the same type of tumor will respond to medications totally differently.
The standard type of chemotherapy for my condition fried my immune system and put me in the hospital for nine days back in 2008. Seems like an inefficient way to find out it was the wrong regimen for me. Hopefully Watson can help out with that sort of thing.
