I'll get in on this action. I don't know anything about winning, but it would be fun to see other people's campsites and tent set-ups.
And, hoosierdaddy, even with a few broken links, that's a sweet thread!

Just because it's a campground, doesn't mean you won't park on a flood plain Happy to report the BA kept the mud and water on the outside.

Odd. Both are about the same bit size. Why do they show up so different?

Ah.. Rainier. Somewhere near Camp Muir. We weren't sure because a storm had just hammered us and we only had about 50' visibility.

Roan High Knob, Tennessee on the AT.
Was hiking after dark. When I got to the top of the knob, I realized I had missed the trail to the shelter. Wasn't about to backtrack. Wandered around for a while looking for a place to pitch my tent and found this spot.

I don't have favorites — especially when it comes to tents. I actually avoid them in my photos. But I have a few memorable photos — for better or worse.
After decades of not taking photos, I took a cheap camera and took a photo of a cheap tent that I planned to leave behind the next day. I regret that I didn't get the scenery without the tent.
This is one of my first photos after decades of backpacking without a camera.
