Try Here.
One of our own, Stick, has a nice blog. He has come from being relatively new to the game, to putting up some serious comments on gear and food, all in a couple of years. Guy just has a knack for writing.

I don't know if you'd call them blogs, but I've always enjoyed spending time on trailjournals.com and reading what random long distance hikers are up to.

I generally don't put the words 'good' and 'blog' in the same sentence.

You might check out the Blogroll section of The Backcountry Llama. The new publisher/editor, Alexa Metrick, has links to at least nine other adventure oriented blog sites, plus an extensive index of more outdoor blogs. I cannot vouch for the quality or say much about the content, but I know that at least one of the blog sites is for and by women. The small llamapacking community is anxiously waiting for the first issue of The Backcountry Llama under Alexa's guidance.

Well, I've just started a new blog myself with a backpacking component to it. I'm pretty new to backpacking, so it focuses more on the benefits I've gotten from backpacking and how to incorporate similar principles into my daily life. So, yeah, No_Granola might find it pretentious, but I'm still looking forward to evolving this project. Here's a link to the backpacking section:
