I take a train from Tucson to Deming then a Trail Angel will take me down to Columbus where I will start nobo.

I am only hiking to Colorado- 700 miles.  should be done by the end of May.

Exciting day.  I have one resupply box already mailed.  6 more to go.

My wife will mail those for me as the trip progresses.  

Maps are done.  GPS loaded.  

Still too much weight- maybe one more shake pack check.

Weather should be perfect for the next week or so. Lows at night in the high 40's-low 50's. Highs in the day high 70's low 80's.

It'll get cold quick as he gains elevation.
