When you special order a blade from Mississippi River Knife Co its kinda like ordering a shelter from Henry Shires or a pack from....whats that pack again. You cant be in a rush but you can talk directly to the owner/creator and you know the finished result is gonna be exactly what you wanted. These knives aren't pressed out and sent to Wally World. They are crafted old school.
I got the word that it was likely gonna be shipped today. So it will be here in plenty of time for my trip to the Cohuttas over Memorial Day.
Here is a link to my knife being made on facebook.

I think y'all may know who makes them. I know Jim knows who it is. I don't think he would have a problem with me saying who. Its MississippiRob.
And before I get myself in trouble, I'm not saying he is slow. I'm just saying he takes his time and makes them correctly.

Well, since you don't feel like answering...

My guess is the knife's purpose is killing people in the 19th century and pleasing its owner :D

Apart from those two things it's neither fish nor fowl for any other purpose.

But things like knives need no real purpose...

There's plenty of pigs there....run into them the last to weekends.......saw 8 to 10 seventy five + pounders and a couple of large sows with no telling how many pigletts on Horseshoe bend trail...

Ran into another bunch just south of Parksview lake on Sylco creek trail weekend before last.

Haven't seen any bears yet.......

It's a WMA, is pig sticking legal?

I'm pretty sure it is. I think you may even get a pat on the back for doing it.   :D
They have apparently become a huge problem. I don't think anyone from Georgia is gonna complain to anyone for killing a yote, a pig or an armadillo.

ETA: I saw one bear up there a few years ago. A cub. A couple saw the cub and the mom. I think Cgap saw mom's booty.
